As one of the country's top curry restaurants, the Madhuban has set the highest standards since it was
established in 1987, which is why it is so popular and, at times, so busy, with some regular customers
travelling miles just to dine here. It is energetically run by Lodue Miah with the help of his brother Bedar,
assisted by their other brother Dodue, all originally from the beautiful Bangladeshi village of Ishobpur amidst
their beautiful rice plantations.
The kitchen is family-run, too. The Madhuban master chef is Lodue himself; his uncle and several cousins also
assist him. Between them, they have decades of experience, and with such a team, the restaurant is indeed in
capable and well-practised hands. That the restaurant is so successful is down to the brothers' policy that only
the best will do.
